You’re not alone. Millions of households are struggling with debt.

And it’s getting worse, according to analysis by Debt Justice, The Financial Conduct Authority and many other researchers.

Debts can make you feel unwell, anxious, stressed and scared, especially if you are dealing with them alone. Talking with someone you trust can take some of the pressure off, help you to find a way forward that’s right for you and feel less on your own.

Be careful. There are many unscrupulous firms which want to make money from your misery. For example, an investigation by The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and Channel 4 news revealed the individual voluntary arrangement (IVA) industry to be “a wild west rife with misinformation, hidden fees and murky advertising tactics.”

Debt Hacker can’t offer you debt support directly, but there are some organisations which can.
